Appartment hunting

Eventually to include furniture – although might be the other orientation

I forgot how much Estate agents really are surplus to requirements! Why is it that just because you want to rent a house rather than buy a house they feel no appreciable need to actually do their job. ARRRRH. But despite the annoyance factor I think we will probably still end up taking the unit. Two bedrooms, unfurnished, no fridge and no washing machine and right next to the ring road but with air conditioning, a view across the mountains (whose name I feel I should know but don’t), a reasonable sized pool and a short cycle into the Uni and across the motorway to the shops. Also it seems ridiculously expensive.

About Tinkerbel405

I am an Ecologist based at Landcare Research, Dunedin (in Otago, New Zealand). I mainly work on species responses to environmental change. In 2012 I was awarded a Rutherford Discovery Fellowship from the Royal Society of New Zealand. This fellowship has allowed me to return to New Zealand where I am embarking on an exciting new research program: Battlegrounds and safe havens: disentangling the roles of ecology and evolution in the response of biological communities to climate change.
